Some of these hours are being used for searching for local business information. Right to Repair logoThe Right To Repair Act is a proposed regulation to ensure that car owners and independent shops have full access to the information and tools necessary to accurately diagnose, repair, or re-program advanced systems used in most modern vehicles. These systems monitor and control virtually every function of a vehicle such as brakes, steering, air bags, fuel distribution, air conditioning, transmission, power distribution, emission control, etc. Currently, many vehicle manufacturers are making it increasingly difficult and costly for car owners and independent repair shops to access and/or acquire these information and tools.
